Da-Clean A.P.C. was formulated for use by butchers, food processors grocery store meat departments, kitchens and any food service area. The enzyme blend was specifically chosen for protiens, fats and natural oils. These enzymes are called Protease (for protiens) and Lipase (for oils and fats). However, A.P.C. also makes an excellent bathroom cleaner-deodorizer and works well on pet odors. Enzymes do not emulsify fats and oils like degreasers. Emulsification make fats and oils solube in water so they can be washed away. Emulsified fats can become insoluble again when the waste water is diluted in the serwers. This fat and grease can clog sewers when this happens. Enzymes break down fats and oils by hydrolization. Once broken down the simpler chemicals,cannot turn back into fats and oils when dileted. Thus sewers stay much cleaner and grease-traps need pumping much less frequently. Septic systems also benefit from this action. Cleaner drains do not attract and harbor insects as readily. A.P.C. is a remarkable cleaner for meat processors. It is economical and has benefits that degreasers do not have.
